This is a Hindi film based on NRI couple based in London. The leading ladies of the movie are not able to speak Hindi well, however the movie is made in Hindi language.

Bollywood in the past decades did seem to have been slowly shed its conservative approach but Aruna Shields nude pics seems to have broken all the barriers.
According to Aruna nudity is not the highlight of the movie. It’s only shot from sideways. She says she has absolutely “no issues” with her nude scenes in the movie which is about adultery.

Extramarital affairs are like accidents that you keep reading about in the newspapers. You will get shocked when it happens to you. It is a take on four dramatic characters. Mrs. Singh (Aruna Shields), an agony aunt columnist, is obviously agonized upon discovering her husband’s infidelity. Neera singh and Ashwin Mehta – atalented painter finds that, their other half is having an affair. His wife however has full faith in Ashwin’s talent that one day he will be a very rich and famous painter. Drawn together by shame and anger, they find comfort in their growing friendship even as they resolve not to be like their unfaithful mates.

While he is confident in his art, in his personal life Ashwin is unable to stand up for himself. He is someone who is living on his wife’s money and loves her so much.

It is one of the few adult films bollywood has to offer. In one way the film is a type of wife swapping, eventhough unintentional. And the fact that it is dealt with a degree of understatement and maturity, with a great music score (Ustad Shujat Hussain Khan and Sharang Dev) to translate the emotional quotient on to the screen, makes it a decent watch. Director Pravesh made sure that there were very minimal crew members are present while shooting the nude scenes. The film is filled with kissing and nude scence. Aruna Shields did a wonderfull job and the nude scence in a very comfortable manner. The movie is not meant to titillate anyone so there were no vulgar scenes. Every shot is done very aesthetically.

The film is a refreshing walk off the beaten Bollywood track and scores on its minimalist approach to matrimonial discord.

Maybelline has chosen Indian model Diana Penty as new face. With this, she joins the ranks of international supermodels like Adriana Lima and Christy Turlington. “I feel great to get this break to endorse a brand that is so lively and truly multi-ethnic. For me it is not only about whom I am replacing but it’s about being on the same platform as international models and get international publicity,” Penty said in a declaration.

Director Jithu Joseph is bring another family movie with Kunchacko Boban, Archana Kavi, Mukesh, Lalu Alex, Urvashi, Shari, Janardhanan, Anoop Menon.

World over malayalees life is getting a make over due to the influence of tv programes. That is the same reason why this movie may become a success.

The story line goes like this. Mommy and Me movie is about the daugher and mother played by Urvashi and Archana Kavi.

Archana Kavi protrays todays teenage daugher in a middle class family who is demanding more freedom in her life. She is not happy with her mother trying to control her life. This leads to friction and Joseph (Mukesh), the father, has to bear the brunt of it. His efforts to be a bridge fail most of the time.

And there is Jewel’s young brother who tries to spy on her; Rahul who loves Jewel secretly(played by Kunchako Boban. Story takes the turn as Jewel gets into trouble with the college bad guys and rahul saves her.

The cast saves the movie from being a total disaster. Urvasi performs excellent as over protective mother of the daughet. Archana should consider herself lucky to get such an author-backed role so early in her career and that too opposite Urvasi. Archana need to graduate as an actress to take up any role with substance. Kunchako Boban is trying his best to look like and act like a college student. Veterans like Mukesh and Lalu Alex have nothing exceptional to do.

This movie is getting ample attention and is is going to be another successfull in Malayalam as the subject and the presentation is loved by the malayalee family world wide. The society is looking for such good movies rather than purely commercial cinema.

Writer-director Jeethu Joseph tries to prove his versatility with this film, but does not succeed fully as the film is very loud. It may be the title and the story line which is doing the magic.

‘Vedam’ is a complex cocktail of five different interwoven stories. All the five stories are able carry forward by its own. The first part introduces the characters and their problems in life. Everybody have problems in life, very natural.

A muslim youth’s wife suffers a miscarriage due to a rally organised by Hindus and is trying to prove that he is not a terror.

It also shows a women trying to flee from a brothel along with her colleagues. The role of a prostitute ‘Saroja’ is done by Anushka Shetty and shows off her slim belly to prove that yoga can flatten belly.

A rock star who desparately trying to make it big in the music world is the third character.

Ramulu an old man sets out on a journey with his daughter-in-law to get some money home for his sons educaation.

Another is an educated poor guy trapped in proverty want some cash to impress his wealthy girl friend.

In Vedam each individual delivers their most excellent. The cameos by Bhramanandam and Krish himself were suitably written too. The movie ‘Vedham’ will establish a new cult of film creation, from the response it is receiving presently.

MM Keeravani composed the music written by Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Sahiti, E S Murthy and Keeravani.

The multi starrer Vedam Cast includes Anushka Shetty, Nagaiah, Allu Arjun, Deeksha Seth, Manoj Manchu, Lekha Washington and Manoj Bajpai.

Pokkiri Raja is the newest picture by the ever green Mammootty. However there is another old Tamil movie (1982) by this same name by Rajnikant. A picture with out story and reason. However, it will turn out to be another hit in Tamil and Malayalam as it is a crowd entertainer. The society is wanting for such films rather than high-quality films. There was days when Mammooty used to do only high-quality malayalam films, however currently the actor is trying to maintain equilibrium between both ends.

The narrative of Pokkiriraja is very vague. Pokkiri Raja picture is about two sons Raja and Surya (Mammootty and Prithviraj) of an idealistic school teacher who turn into dadas. One of them run away from home and become a big dada while the brother stays at home and turns into a local dada. The full plot is made around two feudal families battling over a temple festival in a village; a typical tamil picture style.

Later on the 2 dadas run into eachother in a big city and sparks fly as they do not see that they are brothers. Nothing new about the story if it is there. Pokkiriraja is directed by newcomer Vyshakh.

The dialogues go like this: Mammootty claims he is not insecure of the immature Prithviraj as he has just started taking tiny steps. The whole narrative where the two actors share the screen are interspersed with such talk.

And, when Prithviraj talks about the dress code in night clubs, Mammootty claims to be the style icon of youths for long time. This goes on like that for ever.

Both Mammootty and Prithviraj have ample scope to please their hardcore followers. Mammootty is trying out little bit comedy along with dance as it is the present trend.

Prithviraj packaged as a healthy entertainer does not disappoint. One just hopes that this manufactured adulation does not go to his head. Editor have done a brilliant job by picking all those small romantic sequences from a lengthy picture and compile to a beautiful to watch 3 mints video as the song “Manikkinavin”. Slick presentation and some action scenes which are bound to go well with the masses are the highlights of this movie. All in all for the true viewer, it is a disappointment. But it will turn out to be a super hit.

The story revolves around 4 buddies Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vir Das, Chang trying to get rich quick. Morals don’t have much to do in their show me the money schemes and they decide to go with the fraudulent deal. Main shooting location for this movie is Bangkok. Other locations are in Mumbai, New York and Philadelphia.

The four friends initiated a small scale business that was planned to crack the system with a hope of getting them wealthy overnight. On their road to the riches they committed all kinds of sinful and forbidden deeds, but with a legal method. They believed in the fact that every business needed a brilliant plan rather than huge cash investment.

All actor in this picture has delivered energy-packed performances, that turn out to be a vast trump card for the picture. Shahid embarks upon a dangerous journey with his friends to unleash one shady business deal one after the other. Shahid Kapoor hits the nail on the skull yet for a second time. Watch out for his finding of a pregnant Anushka, and his argument with her on her finding of his green card surprise. Other scenes where he’s done really perfectly well have to be the ones with Anupam Kher – emotionally strong ones. Anushka is yet one more revelation. Rather than going into safe mode by being stereotyped as the simple girl, she’s gone upfront and done something tangentially distinctive than her debut film in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi roughly two years ago. Her bold and casual act takes you by wonder and impresses one and all- she is confidence personified. One-picture-old Anushka Sharma who’s trying something different from her first film (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, also with the Yash Raj banner) where she performed a simple and sweet Punjabi girl, as in contrast to now – a sizzling wannabe model.

Badmash Company is released in theatres on, the 7th of May 2010. The picture has been directed by Permeet Sethi and is produced by Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra and Aashish Singh. The music director of the film is Pritam Chakrborty. Many great Bollywood stars have been casted in the movie.

The film ends up providing us with ample doses of enjoyment value, what with a actually well-written script, supported by admirable performances by the cast and rock-solid production values by the makers of the movie! And the best part about the picture is despite carrying the tag of the ‘fun, fresh movie that wants to entertain us’, the film never ends up insulting your intellect, something Parmeet Sethi should be highly praised of.

Being the first release after the 2 month dry spell at movie theatres post IPL, audiences were clearly awaiting a picture. While in totality it does fall short of being the big great summer entertainer that it is been claiming to be, it however manages to bring many laughs for you. “The fact is that critics don’t have to tell me whether my film is good or not. It is the job of the audience and they would decide if ‘Housefull’ works for them,” Sajid quoted during production.

Sajid, who also wrote the movie, strains too strong to add humour to every frame. He resorts to the everyday gay and Gujarati gags. He packs just about everything to entertain you for the next two hours. Everybody is expecting from Housefull are non-stop laughter and non-stop entertainment. Besides, Sajid Khan swears by wholesome entertainers, so it’s only natural to expect Housefull to bring the house down.

To give Sajid due credit, he has created many rip roaringly humorous situations that are well executed by his actors. Most hilarious sequences are done by Akshay Kumar and Ritesh and displays amazing chemistry in that. Also Every actor in this film takes the film to the next level.

Apart from humour, Housefull has a story to tell. The story is about pretenses, and how in the name of saving one’s face and popularity, lies lead to larger lies, stemming from wanting to impress family members. Housefull narrates the story of Aarush (Akshay Kumar), the world’s unluckiest man. Being jinxed, he believes his bad luck can vanish if he finds true love. In the process he gets married to the rich mans daughter Jiah Khan. But there’s a twist in the tale. Then enters Sandy (Deepika Padukone), who falls in love with Aarush. But complications follow thereafter as Sandy’s brother, Major Krishna Rao (Arjun Rampal) and Hetal’s (Lara Dutta-bobs wife) father, Batuk Patel (Boman Irani) enter the scene. How Bob and Aarush come out of this mess, forms the crux of the film.

Every actor in this picture takes the picture to the next stage. I am not attempting to write a full housefull movie review here.Akshay Kumar is superb as Aarush. All those who felt that the actor tends to grow loud or wishes to be restricted will alter their opinion with this film. Riteish is brilliant as natural. He doesn’t give you an impression that he is acting. The story’s main focus is Akshay, eben though Riteish stands shoulder to shoulder with the hero. Next Arjun Rampal does a fantastic job as well. Deepika carries her part with amazing confidence and again she will be remembered for her performance in this one. Lara is a experienced person when it comes to comedies and she’s too good yet onceagain. Her scenes with Riteish in particular and also with Boman are first-rate. Jiah is a revelation. Although she doesn’t get much scope, she manages to register an impact.
