Time and again many actresses from malluwood has embraced in bollywood movies. Now it looks like the time for another malluwood actress – Priyamani. sexy Priyamani has her aim at Bollywood. After alluring audiences through her stunning performances, she has become famous in B-town as we listen to that she has already been offered a few Bollywood masala movies.
However, Priyamani has been somewhat demanding when it comes to selecting movies and is taking it easy. That may be the secret of her success. It is clearly acknowledged that the screenplay as well as story can make or brake a picture. Priyamani’s coming movie a Tamil remake of Ram Gopal Varma’s film with Vivek Oberoi. She plays Bhavani, South sensation Suriya’s love interest, in the picture. Explaining on how she landed the part, the heroine says, “Ramu ( Ram Gopal Varma) had witnessed me in Paruthiveeran and found I would be apt to play Bhavani. When he tried to get hold of me, I was shooting in Langkawi with Puri (Jagganath sir) for a Telugu film.
Ramu and Puri are nice friends and he had explained to Puri sir regarding the film. When Puri sir told me regarding Ramu’s telephone call, I became truly happy. I adjusted my time sheet for a different picture to be a part of this film.” Priyamani hasn’t signed any Tamil picture recently while her hands are jam-packed with Telugu and Kannada films. However the artiste pronounces she is eager to do additional films in Kollywood. “My last film was Raavanan and presently, I have this. I am more than willing to do a straight Tamil picture, However I have not been offered any genuine movies till at present. I don’t desire to do a picture here just for the sake of doing one. I would like to do films which I would be proud of. I will gladly do another rural-based picture like Paruthiveeran since it bought me acclaim,” Priyamani states. Yeah, and a National Award too!
Browsing backward to the history Priyamani can be another star item in bollywood. There are several south ladies from south who has made it good in Hindi cinema. Anushka Shetty as well as at present Shruti Haasan are merely illustrations of new actresses in bollywood from malluwood. Yesteryears stars Rekha and Hemamalini are all from south in one way or other. Appear like Sonam Kapoor as well as Nayanthara will have a serious opponent now.
