Director Jag Mundhra’s upcoming psychological erotic thriller “APARTMENT” will be releasing on 23rd April. People are reacting strongly to the bathing scene in the movie.
Neethu Chandra, 25, claimed that the media is wrong to react so strongly to Neetu Chandra Bathing Scene in the movie. “There is no vulgarity or cheapness in the shower scene. The shot gives an illusion that I am not wearing anything but it is a trick of the camera. It’s an illusion that the filmmakers have created because I wasn’t comfortable shooting otherwise,” Neetu Chandra as said.
“I play a hostel girl in the movie and in that particular scene I am just thinking about something while bathing. Now this is something so many of us do and can connect with. Besides, you can’t wear a lehenga in the bathroom. What’s realistic cinema then?”
Aprt from Neethu Chandra, Anupam Kher, Tanushree Dutta, Neetu Chandra, Rohit Roy are doing main roles in this movie.Since it is a woman centric film, Tanushree Dutta is very happy as well. Jag Mundra is known for Provogue and Bawander.Its is a fully thriller movie. The story is based upon the apartment which is giving on the rent.
Also Neetu clarified that there is no lesbian element in the movie. “Apartment is not a lesbian film at all,” she confirms, “Why is it believed that if two females live together, they are lesbians and when two guys are together, they are gays? Haven’t we been brought up together with our brothers and sisters? I don’t know what is wrong with some people. They should just relax rather than be thinking around stuff like this.” She added.
Neetu Chandra is currently working on the masala comedy No Problem with Akshaye Khanna, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor and Sushmita Sen. The movie features Sexy Kangana Ranaut as an airhead who believes she’s the sexiest girl in the world with Sushmita playing the role of her elder sister.
